Before enjoying the culinary indulgencies on holiday it is necessary to endure hard work.
*Firstly – one must have enough time and patience as the fishing season last from the 1st of April to the 20th of November.
*Secondly –one must acquire a fishing licence.
*Thirdly – one must not forget one’s fishing rod (in emergencies one is still able to buy a rod in one of the many fishing shops).
With these three necessary pointers you have almost a fish on your hook and in your pan!
In the crystal clear water of lake Attersee you can find a wide variety of fish species like different trout, saibling, pike, perch, eel, or carp.
In case you fishermen have no luck you don’t need to abandon the idea of your fish supper: the many fish restaurants around the lake can prepare a delicious ‘Attersee-fish-speciality’ to tantalise your taste buds.
