In order to be prepared for the worst, here is some useful advice for emergencies.

Codes of behaviour for your safety on the lake!

The bathing rules:

• Never jump in water before regulating your body’s temperature to that of the lake!
• Do not go in the water on a full stomach!
• Leave the water in the event of thunder storms, night time, and high waves!
• If you suffer a cramp of the arm or leg, roll over to position yourself on your back!

Important codes of behaviour on water

• When seeing the flashing storm warning light go to the shore immediately!
• When swimming long distances do not forget to take an adequate swimming aid or a safety boat with you! (blow-up balls, lilos, or small rubber dinghies are not appropriate swimming aids)
• Do not leave your boat for a swim without making sure that there is an appropriate way to get back on board!
• In case of a boating accident stay near the boat in open waters!
