The excursions around the Attersee are pure adventure-hiking. Here you can find different suggestions, to get knowledge about history, nature and arts on our theme-trails.

The new Viktor Kaplan thematic path is situated between the Attersee and the Mondsee and gives a rough overview of the man's life and works - one of Austrias most important innovators.

Take a walk on the traces of great artists, who lived and where on visit in Steinbach and Weissenbach. Gustav Mahler, Friedrich Gulda, Franz von Schönthan, Chalotte Wolter, Hedwig Bleibtreu, Gustav Klimt – all of them where inspired by the Attersee and its fascinating surroundings.
At this 2,5 km long and easily walkable loop-trail are presentation boards with interesting information.
