In the west of St. Georgen arises the 680 m high ‘Koglberg’. Just a few walls of his castle are remained, which once was the centre of regime of Attergau, but beautiful views in the lovely cultural landscape show you the reason, why the people colonised from time immemorial.

2,5 km long, with experimental stations
There is also the possibility of a loop-trail (ca. 5 km)

Traffic circle to the west of St. Georgen, Spitzerwirt, Hotel Grüner Baum, 1000 year old lime tree (longer alternative)
